COHJU is pleased to present *Correspondance*, a two-person exhibition featuring Alexandra Feusi and Kousai Shiraishi.
The French word Correspondance evokes the exchange of letters, as well as connections and resonances between different things.
In preparation for the exhibition, the two artists have exchanged words and images, engaging in an ongoing dialogue. Even when complete understanding remains out of reach, the conversation continues, and something is communicated.
Bringing together paintings shaped by distinct memories and sensibilities, the exhibition explores unexpected connections and possibilities for dialogue that emerge between understanding and misunderstanding, empathy and miscommunication.
